1. Step by step
Winter swimming is an intense exercise that deeply mobilizes physical functions. Tests show that the external resistance (TPQ) of heart pumping function increases only 4 times than before. After entering into the water suddenly, it increases 123 times, which is easy to cause damage to the heart. Therefore, we should begin to exercise in summer and autumn to adapt water temperature gradually. It is best to make a transition with a cold bath before diving. It is also recommended to adapt to the water temperature gradually after diving, so as to avoid dangerous situations.

2. Do what you can.
At different water temperatures, the human body can endure different time span, and how long it can swim varies from person to person. Therefore, when swimming in winter, everyone can grasp the time according to their own conditions, such as physical fitness, swimming equipment, bearing capacity, etc.. Pay attention to doing what they can, and don't be bravado, because too much is easy to cause problems, and too little can't achieve the purpose of exercise.

3. Combine with other sports.
No matter which season you swim, you should do preparatory activities before swimming, as well as winter swimming. But don't do too much exercise, you can leg press, do exercises, run and jump. 4. Pay attention to skin care.
Referring to so-called snow without wind, the weather is dry in autumn and winter. After swimming, the moisture in the skin is taken away, which makes it easier to dry and crack. Therefore, it is recommended to apply skin cream to the easy-to-crack surfaces when swimming in autumn. It is best to use natural and non-irritating ingredients, which can give dry skin better moisturizing care.
